COURSE DESCRIPTION
CSP1 deals with applying CranioSacral Therapy, SomatoEmotional Release® and Enegry Cyst release on newborns, infants and little children. In the course participants take part in a joyful journey, during which they get to know the anatomical differences of the craniosacral system of infants, children and adults, and how the techniques can be applied accordingly.
Participants learn how to approach and establish relationship with children other than neurologically standard. They begin to understand the neurological function behind the unusual behavior, neural development and reflexes. They practice the palpation of the CranioSacral rhythm on “ever-moving” children.
After understanding deeper the process of birth, we have the opportunity to close the biological processes in connection with our own birth. It is a priceless experience in order to learn how to create the appropriate therapeutic atmosphere for someone who is about to process his or her own birth.
Establishing the grounded therapeutic presence plays a vital role during the whole course, as it is far more important when treating infants, little children and their families, than in case of sessions with adults. Children grow up in families, therefore participants also deal with family dynamics, and learn how to work with it as therapists, and how to realize the ongoing processes.
During the 3rd and 4th day of the course, participants have the possibility to practice treating infants, children and their family under professional supervision. By the end of Day 4 participants thoroughly understand the basis of pediatrics, and gain the necessary self-confidence in treating children.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Some techniques require the usage of rubber gloves provided by the training organizer. Participants being latex-sensitive should take care of gloves made of other materials themselves.
Wearing loose and comfortable clothing (preferably no jeans) and indoor slippers during the course is recommended.
On Day 3 and 4 of the workshop, participants work together with children in pairs. In most cases children can take part in the program based on the participants’ recommendations. Very often they benefit very much from the sessions. We receive numerous letters from the parents of children taking part in the CSP workshop reporting how huge impact this short session had on the life of the whole family. Unfortunately, in case of the participants cannot recommend the appropriate number of infants and children to take part on the program, it can badly influence the quality of the workshop. We kindly ask the participants not to wait for others to recommend children. Please fill in and send back the enclosed document called ‘Application Form for CSP demonstrations’.
At the end of the course students will receive a certification issued by the Upledger Institute Hungary. The issue of the certification is subject to the students’ presence during the whole period of the course, as well as, to their active participation and cooperation. The issued certificate does not qualify for individual medical activity!
Participation in the course only does not give the right to use the title ‘CranioSacral Therapist’, or call the activity ‘CranioSacral Therapy’, until the CST-T (CranioSacral Therapy Technique Certificate) exam is passed successfully covering the learning material of the CST1 and CST2 courses.
Moreover, we would like to draw the participants’ attention to the Edict No. 40/1997. (III.5.), as well as, to the NM Decree No. 11/1997 (V.28.), that professional practice of the techniques learnt in the course is subject to authorization. The participant is obliged to meet the legal requirements in order to carry out professional practice.
